Skaty is de mascotte van Skate4Air, een organisatie die geld inzamelt voor meer onderzoek naar een oplossing voor taaislijmziekte. Knuffelpinguin Skaty stond op de bar op de roei om aandacht te vragen voor dit goede doel. Met nadruk op stond, want ze is al weken niet meer gezien in het clubhuis. Bij deze dus mijn oproep: wil degene die Skaty heeft gezien, haar weer terugzetten op de bar? Of wil degene die het nodig vond Skaty mee te nemen een mooi sponsorbedrag over maken middels de actiepagina?
Uiteraard is het nog steeds mogelijk op de inschrijflijst op de bar (of direct aan mij) aan te geven dat je ook een Skaty wilt kopen, of loten voor de loterij, of mijn nieuwe actie: biologische wijnen uit Portugal. De opbrengst gaat naar Skate4Air!
De Zwolsche Roei- en Zeilvereeniging, opgericht in 1887 en sinds het voorjaar van 2005 de trotse bezitter van een schitterende accommodatie langs het mooiste roeiwater van Nederland.
